Meet our Chief Marketing Officer, a seasoned growth marketer and demand generation expert with over 18 years of experience in steering marketing teams towards driving revenue growth and profitability in the global education technology sector and various other industries. With a wealth of expertise, she is leading the charge as the Chief Marketing Officer at BARBRI Global, shaping and executing the marketing strategy for the world’s premier provider of online legal education and professional development.
Her skill set spans across global branding, marketing technology, analytics, optimization, operations, and processes, coupled with a robust financial acumen in P&L management, investment planning, attribution modeling, budgeting, and forecasting. Asmita is renowned for building and integrating marketing technology stacks to launch buyer-centric perpetual demand generation automation programs and cultivate advanced digital ecosystems to fuel marketing initiatives and drive growth.
Prior to joining BARBRI, Asmita served as the SVP/Head, Bootcamps Marketing at 2U/edX, leading their consumer-centric go-to-market digital transformation for B2B and B2C audiences. She also led their strategy & innovation group at EdX that acted as an incubator for future big revenue generation ideas. With Travel Leaders Group (Internova), Asmita managed marketing for their luxury travel brands for B2C and B2B audiences.
Asmita holds a master’s degree in integrated marketing from New York University, specializing in Advanced Analytics. She earned her undergraduate Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute in India. Driven by a passion for the science of marketing and the transformative power of education, she is dedicated to making a meaningful impact on people’s lives through her work.
Based in New Jersey, Asmita resides with her husband, teenage daughter, and their two beloved cats. Her interests extend to writing Hindi poetry and exploring new destinations through travel.
